A:AnswerThe manual is obviously incorrect. The icemaker will work once it reaches the proper temperature. It shows a metal bail which the refrigerator does not have. It appears that when the ice container gets full, the plastic arm will shut off the icemaker. Unlike previous units I have owned where raising the bail manually shuts off the icemaker, this model does not work that way. Only the on/off switch will manually shut off the icemaker. The manual also incorrectly states that the dispenser light turns on when dispensing ice. A previous model did work that way. This one does not. The light is either on or off, controlled by the switch.
