• Top loaders use around 14 gal per cycle And the front loaders use around 7 or 8 gal.

• I don’t know the truthful answer to this all Ik is that it’s not enough water to wash the clothes with. The rinse cycle also does not spin long so don’t put a lot of soap in

• Not enough. It auto-senses the level, even when you turn auto-sensing off. I don't recommend unfortunately. It can be a headache to operate.
