It is dependent on your plug at home. The range will take either but it needs to be the one you have in the wall. You can purchase either one and it connects easily with a Phillips screwdriver.

The delivery folks (or yourself if you are picking it up) will supply the right cord for your home. That was the first thing they looked at when they delivered my stove -- was it a 3 prong or 4 prong hook up. They installed the right cord hook up in the truck before they brought the stove into my home. Many newer homes have a 4 prong hook up. Mine is an older home with a 3 prong hook up so that is what the delivery people installed on my stove. You can have either type of hook up.
