“Dry keeps stopping before time is up and when I push start button the dryer doesn't start. I had the dryer for 4 yrs. I checked the plug to make Sure it was plugged in and I checked my breaker. I took some clothes out. It started working after 3 minutes.”

It sounds like the thermal overload on the dryer motor... basically your motor is getting hot and shutting down. Might need to check for lint around the motor or the motor could be failing
