Dryer door can only be switched from one side to the other. Not from top. You could probably use old dryer cord. But if you have it installed by them then you are required to purchase the cord and dryer vent. They will haul old dryer with a fee.

Please try again later.There are no dryer doors that can stand the weight of folding clothes on them without the risk of speaking the door or breaking the retaining strap/chain. Also, never use old electrical cords with new appliances. You run the risk of voiding any warranty And it could be a fire hazard.
