Hi LittleDave, yes the Bip 6 is able to display the current heart rate measurement for you. You are able to take a manual measurement at anytime on the watch to view it. Michael | Amazfit Support

Actually ‘NO’. The heart rate is lagging behind about 30 seconds. In other words… what you see on display in workout mode is the heart rate you’ve had 30 seconds ago
