• NO. The Bip stores the data UNTIL you can sync it with the app on your phone, such as AFTER you return from your run. If you do have the phone with you on your run, it will, of course, sync more frequently.

• Yes. The data from watch is picked up by the app and allows you to get statistics after your run/walk.
