Not easy to read with both my anti-UV sunglasses, prescription and off-the-shelf. The AMOLED screen tries to compensate with increased backlighting, but that only shows very dimly in direct sunlight. It also has a polarity that will cause it to turn totally dark when its polarity and the glasses' polarities "cross" at certain angles (well known characteristic of polarized lenses). My older Bip model with transflective screen shows far better in daylight with no extra battery consumption since that does not take extra power as the AMOLED does.
