• No it does not but it will not be able to save to your profile if it’s not connected to your phone in a while

• Hi there , You will need to smart phone to set it up with the Zepp app , how ever while tracking your HR it doesn't need you phone to closeby while you exercise. Kieron | Amazfit Support
