Cannot pair with my Sony tv null

Because it only pairs with a Fire TV or stick. If your Sony TV doesn't have an Amazon Fire app it won't pair.

Hi Gary! The Alexa Voice Remote Pro is designed specifically to work with Fire TV devices. To the best of my knowledge there aren't currently any Sony made Fire TV devices, though if you are using a Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube with your TV the Alexa Voice Remote Pro should be able to pair to that device. If you aren't using a Fire TV device, then unfortunately the Alexa Voice Remote Pro will not be able to work with your TV right now. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day.
