To setup your Amazon Echo, you'll need to either download the Alexa app onto your smart phone/tablet or it can be setup via a web browser on a wifi connected computer. Once downloaded/on web browser, connect the power cable to your Echo and wait for the light ring to change from blue to orange. From there, it walks you through setup in the app/browser from connecting your Echo to your wifi all the way to giving you some quick tips and giving Alexa a little 'Voice Training' to learn how YOU speak so it can better understand you. It is a very straight-forward process - they've made it really simple to get started. Just make sure your Echo is in a central location, at least 8 inches away from any walls or windows. If you find that Echo doesn't hear you clearly or you'd rather it be in another room, it can be easily unplugged, repositioned, and plugged back in without needing to be setup again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You install it by downloading an app to your phone. I have an older android phone that can't use the app, so I used my computer to set up Echo. You obviously need a wireless network in your house and from the app on your phone or your computer you link your Echo to your wireless network (by typing in your password for your wireless network). It IS relatively easy and WELL worth it!

Connect the power cord and plug it in close to where you want it. Download the Alexa app on your phone and follow commands to connect to wifi. ...and start giving voice commands ! :)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very easy. You just need to get the app for your iOS or Android device then it's pretty much just connecting Echo to your home's Wi-Fi. You'll need your home Wi-Fi network ID and password to connect Echo. If you have an Amazon Prime account you can use that to login to Echo so you can stream Amazon Music which is part of your membership. That's pretty much it.

Connect to the echo in your smartphone wifi settings. Go to your echo app on the phone and it will ask you to chose your home wifi network and enter password if needed. 5 minutes tops.
