• You have to download the app. Have wifi and leave it plugged in at all times. No monthly charge. Amazon prime is a necessity.

• Your home WiFi will work. We use Pandora. You need to have some kind of Music service, but Pandora is good & it is free. There is only a subscription if you subscribe to one.

• I have At&T Wifi and it works fine. You would want to have an Amazon prime subscription to maximize Alexa's abilities i.e. Any song you can think of she will play. I use it for traffic just before i leave every morning. Great technology and it keeps getting better.
