The nice thing about the echo versus the Google home is that you can connect to any Bluetooth device. Will your TracFone allow you to access apps in the Google play store? You may need the Alexa app.

Not sure which one you have but i do know Straight Talk which is owned by Tracfone works with Echo.

The echo works with all devices that as long as you can download the Amazon echo/alexa app

As long as you are able to download the Alexa app through the app store on your phone you should be able to set it up. It does need to be a smart phone however.
