I'm still in research mode myself, so if you read this, please know these are my guestimations based on the standards of BT technology, as well as being a current in-house echo user. Since the auto echo connects to your phone's service (through it's own echo app), it should then broadcast/connect to any and all bluetooth sources that your phone is connected to. In other words it kinda just piggy backs to your phone (thru the app), so your phone is still primary device for bluetooth selection. Once you have set up the echo and it is connected to your phone, proceed by selecting your portable speaker from your phone's list of available bluetooths, just like you do otherwise. Actually, you might just be able to request for Alexa to do it ... Also, you would have the option of hardwiring, as aux cord comes included. The echo basically integrates all your connected smart tools through this one hub, hands-free (verbal commands) while also offering Alexa's full access personal assistance, as well as entertainment services like all request playlists, books on audio, sports and current events -- limitless internet sourced information on verbal demand. Much safer Pretty cool
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you should be able to. I did this. Connect the echo auto and the speaker by bluetooth to your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not think that it will work unless your radio is in good working condition. This is the problem that I have with mine. I had thought about trying a wireless Bluetooth speaker but have not have time in this holiday season to persue this. This is all I have found out at this time. Thank you
