Can the dot or echo be hooked up in your car? null

It’s possible, but you would need a wi-fi signal for operation. Either by integrated wi-if or tethering on your phone (not as easy to deal with)

I'm willing to bet if you connect it to the hotspot on your phone and have the dot plugged in with power, then sure you can use it in a vehicle

You can through bluetooth, but you will still need a wifi signal and the optional battery pack. I don't think the battery pack is available at Best Buy.

If you car has bluetooth it should be able but who would take it on their car? Also, if you have a smart phone just hook up your phone.

I have never tried but it seems possible if you have WiFi enabled in your car. You have to hook the echo dot up to a WiFi source & an outlet. These may be your two limitations to accomplishing this task.

If you have wifi in your car, you can get an aftermarket power adaptor and keep it in your car.

It could be if your car has an aux port or a bluetooth connection. However, the echo requires internet connection. So you would have to have some sort of cellular for the echo to be effective whether it be from your car or a mobile hot spot.
