Power cable comes with the Dot. You can add Hue lights and Alexa can control them. I have the Nest Thermostat and she can control that,like as well. I believe there is a list online at Amazon that shows all the devices the Echo line can control.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The echo come with a powe cord. How you will need a smart hub and switch to turn on/off lights. I use SmartThings and GE light switches. https://www.smartthings.com. Some electrical work is neede to replace the light switch.
