• Do you mean Echo Show and not Echo Shadow? And yes to both questions; they can be used together and independently. For example, if you ask Alexa a question, she will answer you on whichever Echo device you are closest to. If you wanted to play music on both (or all) Echo devices, you could say, "Alexa, play [music] everywhere."
