• Consider using a Fire TV Stick. However, if your TV does not have HDMI and USB inputs, you may not be able to accomplish what you want.

• You can only turn the tv off with it. The plug will power the tv, but there is nothing to tell the tv to turn on besides the remote.

• Having a smart plug hooked up to the tv will only supply power to the tv. You need Amazon fire stick or fire tv built in to turn the tv on with an echo device.
