Absolutly. I also use it to read iBooks to me. I also use it as a speaker phone for my iPhone and to play my phones music.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can play podcasts from the echo dot. Use the app to set Alexa skills first. The rest is quite easy. Alexa can help guide you, too. I believe you can play audio from your phone to the echo using the app. Seems like that was one of the first things we tried. Very easy to do.
