yes. it is an alexa enabled device. use it to get information, listen to music, read the kids bedtime stories, or even control devices in your smart home. the possibilities are endless.

It is Alexa. It's the same as the full size one except the speakers are really small and not really meant to play music through them. I use the full size one to play music and the dot I keep by my bedside. If you have a Bose Sound Link or other Bluetooth speaker you can pair with the Dot and play music with Alexa through them.
