• The light going on and off is telling you she is working. Maybe you said her name, or T.V. Was on and said Alexa and she is waiting for an order. It could also be that she needs to be unplugged and plugged in again to reboot. Hope this helps.

• it should be because you have a notification. ask alexa to read you your notifications and if there is one, the light will go off after it is read
