setup is quite easy if you has a android product go to the goggle play store and download the Alexa app and if you have a Apple product go to the App Store and download the Alexa app and install app then plug in Echo view to a power source wan wait for your view to power up and when you view is ready to start the setup process she will tell you follow her instruction and you will be up and running in a matter of min.. Requirements are power source and Internet access.

Descriptive manual and had my Echo Dot set up fully within ten minutes or less. If you have access to YouTube there are many DIY video guides online

There wasn't a lot to setting it up. My wife had to download an app on her phone - and walk through the process. Not too difficult.

You need to use the Alexa app on a smartphone in order to attach the Echo Dot to your home network and set it up. The app walks you through the steps and it is very easy to do.
