- Answer Hello, Gail! The top of the Echo Dot has 4 buttons. The - and + are the volume controls, the circle is the action button, and the circle with the line through it is the microphone off button. When you press the action button, you can ask Alexa questions or to control things. The microphone off button turns off the microphones on the device so that it will not respond when it hears "Alexa". I hope that helps! Have a great day!

- Answer Hi -, You do not need to be an amazon prime member to use the echo dot. You will need a smart phone or tablet to download the Alexa app to complete set up. From there you will also need an amazon account which is free to create if you don't have already! The device is powered by plugging into an outlet so you will need a working outlet not too close to the wall for Alexa to help with requests. Hope that helps!

- Answer Hello, Joe! Yes, you can definitely play music on all of your Echo devices! Simply tell Alexa, "Alexa, play music everywhere." and she will play that music on all your devices. I have never heard of a maximum number of speakers that can be used for this. As long as they are tied to your account, they should work. Have a great day!

- Answer Hello, John! The Echo Dot that you have written this question on is not the one with the clock, but the Echo Dot with Clock has an LED display that is about 1" by 2". It can be seen in day and night and changes brightness automatically for the situation. Have a great day!

- Answer Hello Sharon, Yes, you can pair your 4th gen Echo dot with clock with your Fire stick to stream sound through the dot. - Answer Hello, Jennifer! You do not need to have the Echo Dot connected to your phone via Bluetooth in order to listen to music on it. You can simply say, "Alexa, play my playlist on Amazon Music" or whatever music streaming service you use. You may need to link this service through your Amazon app if you haven't already done so. - Answer Hello Nelson! Great question! You can actually ask Alexa to set a recurring alarm by asking her to wake you up everyday at a specific time. You can also go directly into the "More" icon in the lower right hand corner of your Alexa app on your smartphone, then tap "Alarms & Timers" to add or customize any of your alarms that you would like.
