Hi Jb! You can use an Echo Dot to control your Fire TV devices by linking things up in the free Alexa App. To do so: Open the Alexa app. Open More and select Settings. Select TV & Video. Select Fire TV. Select Link Your Alexa Device and follow the on-screen instructions. This will allow you to do all sorts of hands free Alexa powered tasks, such as playing specific movies, navigating through search results, or opening apps. Some apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime video have built-in Alexa features, like being able to just say "Alexa, play The Good Place on Netflix" to bring up and start streaming a show right from where you left off!
