Hello Upgrade and thank you for your question! While the Amazon echo dot 4th gen has an impressive speaker/sound system; the Amazon echo dot 5th gen has a larger driver. When compared to the 4th gen, there is a richer audio and a better experience overall. Hope this helps! Have a great day!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have purchased 5 of these. I have 1 in my kitchen & 1 in my bedroom. My daughter & 2 grands live only 6 miles away from me. Ive only ever purchased the 5th Generation so I can't compare for you. We all enjoy the speaker quality. My daughter & grands play music on theirs & I do on occasion.
