No. You just need to ask Alexa to find your devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there! As long as your smart TV works with Alexa, you should be able to use your Echo Dot with Clock to control it. If your TV has Alexa built in, then you can set everything up using the Alexa app. For other TVs, you may need to set up or log-in to an account on the TV first, then add that account as a skill to Alexa. To do that once you've got an account set up open the Alexa App and select 'More' at the bottom right. Next select Skills & Games, and search for the type of account at the top.
