• Yes it should do everything a regular echo can do as long as the lamp is a smart lamp or has a smart bulb.

• That all depends if it is connected through a smart dimmer switch or a Smart dimmable bulb. YES it can. However If the lamp itself is dimmable , I do not believe it can interact with the lamps dimming technology.

• This is a smart speaker, not a switch/outlet/bulb. You can give it commands which can send signals to a smart outlet/switch/bulb.
