Yes, if you have the proper skill already setup. Calling the skill is easy, creating the skill is a bit more complex. If there is a ready made skill the setup is easy. Codding a custom skill requires programming most people are going to find impossible to do. The control of your AV system is better to be executed by a smart remote like Harmony and the vice control can be then integrated using Echo

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine has limited control of my Roku (on, off, OTA channel selection, volume, ect.). However be advised it does not have a speaker. You need to have a separate speaker connected (by Bluetooth or aux cable ) to hear device vocal responses. Basically it behaves like an echo dot without a speaker. I primarily use mine to transmit my Amazon music to a small Bluetooth I can move around the house and nearby outside. It's worth $15.
