The Echo Plus can be used to control the Phillips Hue Bulb such as turn it on or dim it with a voice command.

The echo plus has a built in hub that allows you to turn the hue off and on. It will not allow you to set a schedule.

It is a smart speaker that can stream audio from a variety of sources. It can also support your “smart home”. If you have certain smart thermostats, smart bulbs, or other smart devices, it can control them. I would recommend that you look closely at the product that you’re looking at to be sure it’s compatible. There are varying versions of “smart technology” that are incompatible.

It can do more then what you need.
