• Yes, when you open the box that your Echo is in there is a small instruction packet inside. It gives you a website you can visit to set up your Alexa powered devices via your computer. You can also visit that same website to edit Alexa's settings or add skills to her.

• you can get a look at some info on your laptop, but I had to use my smartphone to actually do any setup or changes
