“I have a gen 1 echo, however it has seen better days. What are the differences in a gen 2? Is the sound better? Does it do at least do all of the functions of a gen 1?”

• Way better sound, fuller bass. I have had no issues and setup is better as well (Alexa app has been updated). I have not integrated with firestick yet but soon Alexa will be my remote

• Hi Jason! Not only is the sound better, but this device also has a smart hub built in. It will also do all of the functions that your Echo Gen 1 does as well. Hope this helps!
