Hello Mar, Thank you for your question. A separate remote is not required to use the Echo Show 15. It is only suggested if you want to use FireTV. It will function like the Echo Show 10, but cannot follow your face if you move, the way the Echo Show 10 moves with you. You will be able to Drop-in, the same way you do now. As the Echo Show 15 is a frame to be mounted on a wall (bracket included in the box), if you want to install on a table, multiple support options are available to do so (sold separately).
