“If you only have one Echo show can you move it from one room to another periodically (say if I am using the recipe app in the kitchen) without having to completely set it up each time you move it!?! Thank you”

We had to move her when remodeled our kitchen. Just plugged it in waited a minute and she was back on line!

Yes, it saves ur settings after initial setup. I have moved mine between kitchen & bedroom with no problem.
