• Hell zipskid7! This stand is the 1st generation stand for the 1st generation Echo Show 5. The stands are virtually identical with the only differences being that the colors for each one are matched precisely with the colors of each generation and the 2nd generation is "Climate Pledge Friendly". • I believe I have the second generation. I am in love with my Alexa like I said, I bought one for three members of my family that live out of town. I hadn’t seen my mother sister and brother-in-law for 13 years and we are able to communicate she is in her 80s and does not like technology and uses the Alexa all the time. She plays music and dances, and calls me on it rather than on the phone that is the first Alexa I bought and I have absolutely no complaints. It’s wonderful not sure what the differences are between generation one, but Mike Alexa that is used on a daily basis.
