Yes, there’s a button on top that turns off the microphones. The button will turn red, and the indicator bar at the bottom of the screen will turn red to show that the microphones are off.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since Echo is a "Voice" controlled system, disabling the Microphone would completely defeat the purpose of the Echo. There is a statistically better chance that your smart phone is spying on you.
