Can you use these devices in another country to communicate with love ones?? If it does how and what should I do? null

I believe so - everything is thru the internet. They will need Alexa on their end as well.

to my knowledge as long as you have the following.
1. Cell Phone to load and activate the APP for the devise. Android or Apple phone
2. An AMAZON Account.
3. A G-mail Account for video call . Note: ALEXA uses your cell phone contacts. Other wise you can enter phone #'s manually . A Pain.
4. A fast internet connection especially for out of USA calls..
5. An ALEXA is not needed on the other end. ALEXA can call a land line or cell phone. 
You just lose the video portion of the call. If the other end has an ALEXA they must use the above requirements also.
