• The difference between the Alexa Echo Show 5 and 8 is the Alexa Echo Show 8 is bigger. The Alexa Echo Show 5 is a little bigger than a nightstand alarm clock.

• Basically it has to do with size and in this instance size does matter. The Show 8 has a 8” screen while the Show 5 is only 5”. Also the Show 8 has two 2 1/2 speakers on both side for stereo effect while the Show 5 has only one speaker. Now the Show 5 comes with a web browser which is lacking in the Show 8.

• The difference is simply the screen size .... either 5 inches or 8 inches.
