First set it all up at home. Down load and he app. Take it to the assisted living place and have connect it to there why. Have them position it in the room. Once that is done you can connect. I did it for my mom. Good luck and GOD BLESS

They were more than willing to set it up for her. Inquire with your mother's residential staff. I'm guessing they're very used to setting these up.
