Yes! I play my Spotify on it! And it even displays your last playlist as well! And I have an alarm set with music as well!

Please try again later.Hi Pete, Your Echo Show 8 can play music from your Iphone playlist, but there are some steps to follow below to ensure your device is linked properly. Try the following: Open the Amazon Alexa app. In the lower-right corner, tap More. Tap Skills & Games. In the upper-right corner, tap the search field, then enter Apple Music. Tap Enable To Use. Tap Settings. Tap Link Account. Follow the instructions to sign in with your Apple ID. Then, you will want to set Apple Music as the default setting by doing the following: Open the Amazon Alexa app. In the lower-right corner, tap More. Tap Settings. Scroll down and tap Music & Podcasts. Tap Default Services. Under Music, tap Apple Music. For the alarm settings you can create routines based on your everyday needs. For example, if you wake at the same time each morning you can create a routine in the Alexa App that will sound on your echo show 8 at that time. You can also choose from featured routines in the Alexa app as well. Here is how: Open the Alexa app Select ‘More’ from the bottom navigation Select Routines from the menu Tap ‘Featured’ and tap on the name of a Featured Routine, then tap enable and your new Routine is ready to use. You can also enable a Featured Routine by voice - try one of the Routines below. If you do not want to create a routine, you can simply ask Alexa to set an alarm or timer for your desired time.
