• It comes with everything needed for video chat/calls. Built-in camera, microphone, speaker, and screen. It has free video and audio calls between Echo devices and the Alexa mobile app. So you could get another Echo Show (or the Alexa app on your phone) and call her for free.

• The Echo Show 8 has almost everything she would need. Both of you will need Wifi and you will need an Echo Show for yourself to make video phone calls to her.

• You really need nothing extra. I use drop in which give you the option to use video chat.
