• I'm learning more about how these work every day. YES there are news broadcasts available to watch on this device. You can also ask the device to play radio stations by telling it to play by the call letters for the radio station. There are a number of free apps that connect to news show broadcasts, and yes you can watch those video broadcasts via your Echo Show device. You can also watch movies and TV shows... depending on the subscriptions you may have and also by linking into those that are free on the internet. You tube videos are available. There is a list of available video broadcasts but you'll need to do the research of which are the ones you want to watch.
