• We have a screen protector on ours and it makes reading the fingerprints difficult but I still recommend one.

• Hi Al, There are no glass screen protectors carried for the Echo Show 8. You can get a cut to size screen protector to use on it, but it will mainly protect against scratches. Have a great day!
