That would be really neat if it could work. Unfortunately there is no way for that to work. The Show 8 and all of the Echo devices require power through an AC wall outlet. Also, the Echo Show doesn't have GPS built into it. Sorry to disappoint. Hopefully I answered your questions.

Not sure of that. It needs WiFi to work so you'd need to have WiFi in your car. Some cars have WiFi. BUT you'd have to try it or call tech support to find out what is possible. Amazon does sell an Echo Auto Device but that does not have video.
