- Answer You can use it with any android or apple phone as long you have installed Alexa app on your phone. I have alexa app on my android and apple and both work with my Echo devices.

QuestionWell I would of bought the Echo 8 but it is not wireless and you can not plug it into your USB port in your car > I wanted to use it as navigation but was told it does not have that capability. It would be nice if it did all that. TAB

- Answer It should work as long if they have an Amazon account. If you set it up for them using your Amazon account, then they have access to your account. I am not 100% sure, you should chat with the customer support. They usually respond very quick.

QuestionWith the echo dot I can listen to newscasts such as CNN live. Will the echo show allow me to actually watch the broadcast as well? Thank you!

- Answer I'm learning more about how these work every day. YES there are news broadcasts available to watch on this device. You can also ask the device to play radio stations by telling it to play by the call letters for the radio station. There are a number of free apps that connect to news show broadcasts, and yes you can watch those video broadcasts via your Echo Show device. You can also watch movies and TV shows... depending on the subscriptions you may have and also by linking into those that are free on the internet. You tube videos are available. There is a list of available video broadcasts but you'll need to do the research of which are the ones you want to watch.

- Answer Link Video Streaming Services on Echo Show To get started, say "Go to video home" and select from the available video providers. Follow the on-screen prompts to log in with the account information for that provider. Use your voice to play movies, videos, and TV shows from Prime Video and supported streaming services. You can also use common playback commands. ..This is from Amazon! I hope it helps!

- Answer I have an android phone and this works fine for me. There is the Alexa app that you download on your phone that connects to your Amazon device. You link your accounts on the app for the decive to have permission/access to and can play spotify, pandora, etc.

QuestionI’m looking to buy this for my parents. They do not have an Amazon account. Can I purchase one for them? Or add them to mine? And can they have the Show upstairs in a kitchen and a dot down in the basement ? And would they be able to drop in?

- Answer Technically you don't need an Amazon account to use it. Most features are linked to wifi or a cell phone if you want to use it to make calls. We have the Show in one room and Dots in others. They need to be synced through wifi to work together.

- Answer The Echo Show 8 will allow you to make phone calls once you sync up your contacts to your Amazon account. You can also ask Alexa to place a call by saying the phone number of the person, or business, you wish to call that isn't in your contacts.
