Your right. The alarm wouldn't be able to go off in the morning. It needs internet connection for all functions. Let's hope your internet doesn't go down.

I would guess if the internet was down, no alarms could be set and you would not be able to use the device. But if the power was off, you don't have to reset your commands which is a good thing.
