“Will it be compatible with a 1st gen echo or only 2nd gen?”

• According to Amazon the 1st gen Echo will pair to the Echo Sub but you can’t connect two 1st gen Echo’s to the Echo Sub for true left/right stereo sound.

• Yes, but not with two for stereo. Also Echo Show, music only not video.

• also needs to be paired with either only 1 device or 2 like devices i.e., 2 echos or 2 echo plus'. Can't be paired with 1 echo and 1 echo plus (not like devices).
