A:AnswerYouTube Kids cannot be (easily) installed on this device. There are ways to sideload the YouTube Kids app, but Amazon is very good about blocking most methods of sideloading apps. If you are looking for a good kids tablet, look for the Samsung Kids tablet, which will allow you to run YouTube Kids inside a kid-safe environment. Or go for the Amazon Fire Kids, which is basically this device with a nice bumper and a year's subscription to FreeTime, a kid-safe, curated app environment.
A:AnswerYou may have to install an update to get the alexa voice control. I bought the HD10 with Hands free alexa and had to update it to get the Hands Free part to work. easy to do. Pull donw from the top of the Screen and find the Gear looking icon at the very top right just above the tablet name, choose Device Options from the top half of the menu under "device" and go down the next menu page until you get to System updates and choose that. After that, look for the button that says CHECK NOW in a grey rectangle and click on it and follow any prompts to update the fire OS to the most current version.
