• ABSOLUTELY!!my wife downloads educational and papa pig for our 1 yr old. It’s nice when you can lock the screen so they don’t push a bunch of buttons and the entertainment stays playing. You won’t regret it. Although there were just 50% off a few weeks ago. You might can wait till sale comes around.

• Hi Dennis, The Fire HD8 Pro Kids tablet has content for ages 6-12 meaning there is a bit more autonomy. However, with Amazon Kids and parental controls you can set perimeters and filters for content that best suit the child. Hope that helps!
