Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can make and receive calls from people using show mode who have alexa devices. Kindle Fires can only connect to wifi nwtworks. There are word processing apps you can install that allow for document editing. You can add up to 128 gb memory to this device. I added 64 gigs to mine. Fire tablets use android operating systems that are restricted to the Amazon market. You can still sideload apps to this device. You can also add the google playstore to the tablet if you research how.
