• Hi Joe, The apps you can download on the Fire HD10 Kids Tablet are completely up to your choosing. Nothing is required to add to the tablet. If you wish to add word and powerpoint, you can access them through the app store and may have to adjust parental controls via the parent dashboard on Amazon.com! Hope that helps!
